Warner Brothers: Horror Made Here

In October, I was hired into the Warner Brothers attraction: Horror Made Here where I was a stand-by actor. Basically, I was on call when actors couldn't attend a certain day. Which was a perfect fit for balancing 2 other jobs. I sent in a video where I had to my choice of Halloween characters reading nursery rhymes. It proved to be very difficult. I have posted my silly practice video on my theater page. You'll have to go check that out. Just from this audition, I learned that not all experience will come easy. In this case, I had to be completely stupid and laugh at myself before I could fully commit to each character. But I must have done something right because I got hired on as Regan from The Exorcist to be apart of a special 4 -D screening of the film where the horror came to life. Needless to say, it was a blast! I got to pop out of curtains, bend over backwards, jump on pews, crawl on the floor all while screeching at the top of my lungs. The character had a 2.5 hr makeup call where I was taken in by Hollywood make up extraordinaire, Rod Maxwell, who did his magic to turn me into a possessed child and then about 45 min to remove it all. I met some amazing actors and even a long time friend of the family who pushed me to audition in the first place, Dave Moskowitz. He is also an actor in the LA area, doing amazing work. I loved working on the studio lot of Warner Brother and the opportunity to create and scare for the Halloween season.
Check out some of these shots of Regan!
